Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with some Irish two-step by The Saw Doctors

Posted on March 17, 2015March 16, 2015 by Julie Miller

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so why not throw a little Irish two-step in with your daily zydeco playlist? Cèilidh (pronounced “KAY-lee”) is an Irish dance gathering accompanied by upbeat music and simple dance steps, very similar in rhythm and tradition to zydeco.

The Saw Doctors, a rock band from Galway, played a lively version of “Joyce Country Cèilidh Band” during a concert in their home city back in 2003. So put on your boots and dance along to the song below.
