Listen back to Leon Chavis and the Zydeco Flames in concert

Posted on March 16, 2015March 16, 2015 by Julie Miller

We’ve got the audio archive of Leon Chavis and the Zydeco Flames‘ sold-out concert at World Cafe Live from late last month and you can listen to it below. It was the band’s first time here in Philadelphia (and for some of the band members their first time flying).

The Flames (comprised of Broderick Freeman on  keys, Darryl Dardin on drums, Shone Richard on rubboard, Chavis on accordion and Lance Ellis on bass) jam on Boozoo Chavis’s “Suzy Q” to open the set before moving on to Leon’s original material. Listen back to the concert below and pick up tickets for the next Zydeco Crossroads Dance Party here.
